Hidden Beach is located on the beatiful Mayan Riviera, just one hour south of Cancun. www.hiddenbeachresort.com |
Greetings from Hidden Beach - The World's Only 5 Star, Gourmet Inclusive, Clothing Optional Resort. "Clothed when practical, nude when appropriate."
Guests of Hidden Beach generally come to relax and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and the excellent service offered at the quaint oceanfront resort, but who says a little excitement isn't also on the agenda?
With the brand spankin' new Xplor adventure park now open, Hidden guests can find exhilaration less than a half an hour from the resort. Maneuver amphibious vehicles around, up and over any obstacle. Rugged jungle, rushing waters and rocky grottos are no match for these extreme machines!
Next feel the adrenaline course through your veins as you fly high above the jungle on Xplor's 11 zip-lines, two of which have fan-splash-tic water landings. The action doesn't stop there. Hop aboard a raft and navigate through the underground caverns of the Yucatan Peninsula. Dramatic stalactites jut down from above reflecting in the still waters stirred only by your paddle.
Things to bring: comfortable clothing and footwear, bathing suit, towel and biodegradable sun block.
It's anyone's guess! "How many states does Mexico have?" "How many spikes on the crown of the Statue of Liberty?" "What do you call a baby wolf?" Of course, it could simply be a number that Sergio is thinking of. (Everyone suspects that this question comes into play to tip the scales in case someone gets too far ahead.) Nevertheless, after 4 or 5 real toughies, the guest with the most correct answers wins and the activities staff have achieved their goal, light morning entertainment, minimum participation required, maximum enjoyment.
Who’s who spotlight.

Elide Tuz Tuz
Keeping it clean at Hidden Beach is dirty work, of course if there anyone up to the challenge it's housekeeping supervisor, Elide Tuz Tuz.
Elide has worked as the supervisor of housekeeping at Hidden Beach and the Dark Side for the past two years. "I like my job," she says, "as well as the concept of Hidden Beach. It's lovely here and the guests are so friendly."
She giggles to herself as she confesses that she was nervous on her first day of work, but says that after very little time, she got used to her surroundings. Despite counting herself among the shy sorts, she doesn't hesitate to volunteer William Levy when asked which celebrity she would most like to see in the buff at Hidden beach. (Incidentally, if you haven't heard of him, I strongly suggest that you acquaint yourself with his…um body of work.)
In her spare time Elide enjoys listening to music and spending time with her husband and 3-year-old son. She beams as she thinks out loud about giving him a little brother or sister to play with.
As for her future at Hidden, she looks forward to working in other areas of the hotel and moving up in the company. "I'm a hard worker," she says. This combined with the winning attitude that she radiates is sure to take her far!
