The Year's Biggest, Barest, Beach Bash!
May 5th marked a very important day in Hidden Beach history. Everyone enjoyed a joyous celebration of the resort's fifth anniversary, the grand opening of a brand new lounge and Cinco de Mayo!
Throughout the day, guests competed in activities such as volleyball and the HB Ironman. They accumulated points to earn one of only five chances to win a week's all-expense paid vacation back to Hidden. The vacation was raffled off later in the evening and Jerry headed back to England with sound knowledge that his next nakation was not far off.
The evening's events kicked off with cocktails. Staff introduced themselves and welcomed guests to the official inauguration of the new, and may I say fabulous, oceanfront Moonlight Lounge.
Guests donned Hidden Beach chef hats and aprons to enjoy a cookout. With help from Hidden's culinary staff, they prepared delicious cuisine then headed inside to dine in the new, chic surroundings.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was among the many highlights of the evening. Hidden's very first guests returned to do the honors. Later, to the delight of all in attendance, a special recognition of outstanding work and dedication was awarded to Hidden's beloved waiter, Aniceto.
The pomp and ceremony drew to a close with the colourful phwishes and kah-pows of a dazzling fireworks display. Guests continued the party inside, where they danced the night away to the non-stop rock of Quarzo!

Vanina Isabel Ibarra García
Whether teaching English classes, being shoved into the pool or quizzing the crowd during one of Hidden trivia games, this member of
Hidden's entertainment team never skips a beat. In fact Isabel seems to be constantly getting her groove on to the ever-present tunes in the pool
area. "Dancing," she says, "is my passion!"
This is the essence of her charm. She doesn't hesitate to be passionate. She unabashedly adores men with English accents and would be delighted to see
Hugh Grant baring it all at Hidden. Oh behave! She loves her job and when asked whether she would enjoy an Au Natural vacation, without hesitation
she responds, "absolutely!" Has she done it before? "Not at the beach," she laughs, "but at a party once."
Isabel is a free spirit with a plan. She is adamant about returning to university, where she once studied law. The only problem is that she's not
exactly sure of what she wants to study once she gets there.
In the meantime, Hidden Beach is very lucky to have her charismatic vibe poolside.
