Hidden Beach is located on the beatiful Mayan Riviera, just one hour south of Cancun. www.hiddenbeachresort.com |
Greetings from Hidden Beach - The World's Only 5 Star, Gourmet Inclusive, Clothing Optional Resort. "Clothed when practical, nude when appropriate."
Thanksgiving Day was celebrated with a fabulous feast fit for the frockless. Muchas, muchas gracias was given by Hidden’s ever so gracious guests. Among the delicious dishes served were turkey breast stuffed with dried fruit and apple cranberry crumble pie for dessert. When the last tasty morsel was finally devoured, after turkey snoozes were spent in hammocks, beach beds and back in the comfort of HB suites. Unbuttoning the top button and lowering the zipper simply didn’t apply.
There’s nothing more exhilarating than a good grudge match on the grid iron – action, cheering fans, shouting rivals! What on earth could make a sporting event even more exciting than it already is? Torture by depilation! When the drawers are down, the adrenaline really starts pumping! Just ask Jorge, whose team lost miserably. The gals from the spa had quite a giggle as they cornered him poolside, hot wax in hand to collect on a bet he undoubtedly regretted having made. The result – his peach fuzz ripped from its follicles in the pattern of his team’s initials, leaving on his hind quarters a not-so-esthetically pleasing tribute to the New York Giants.
Without a doubt the two biggest celebrations at Hidden Beach are the hotel’s anniversary in May and New Year’s Eve. And although guests look forward to both, New Years stands apart as an annual event marked by elegance, sexiness and all out glamour! This year promises to be no exception with an extravagant dinner followed by an evening of surprises!
Who’s who spotlight.

Elizabeth Villafan
Elizabeth is HB’s receptionist and her responsibilities go well beyond being pleasant and answering the phone. She prides herself on being efficient and her friendly, professional manner reflects it.
Elizabeth says the part of her job that gives her the greatest satisfaction is tending to guest’s needs and following up to ensure that everything turns out just as it should.
Even though she is from Mexico City, one of the largest cities in the world, she admits to not having seen it all until she came to Hidden Beach. “At first” she says, “I was a bit shy. I guess that I’m still not completely accustomed to it, but the concept is very interesting. “Guests here are very open and so friendly.”
When she’s not busily working, Elizabeth spends time with her boyfriend in Playa del Carmen. She visits the gym frequently (possibly to counteract the effects of her favorite food, fried chicken) and enjoys going to the movies.
Her future aspirations include building a future for herself in the Mayan Riviera. Saving for a car and a house are among her priorities.
